From day one, he made himself available to answer our questions, set appointments for showings, and explain different aspects of the home-buying and ownership process. His shared experiences of his own home-buying and selling journey, as well as his experiences in working with others, to help us feel comfortable with all that we were contemplating and hoping for in a home. As first-time home-buyers, we were unsure about timing, what exactly we wanted, and which financing setup would work for us. Gene was flexible and never pushy with us. He recommended us different lenders, home inspectors, and gave us time to think and deliberate each home we saw (which was well over 15… over the course of five months… bless him for his time and patience with us!). As a local, he even gave insider information on the neighborhoods he was familiar with, as well as school districts. A family guy through and through, he shared valuable feedback as a father that I appreciated for our own family to consider. I couldn’t imagine a better experience. Negotiating with the homeowners was also slick and smooth, because Gene knew the ins and outs of each step and gave us feedback of how offers/inspections/buy-downs and closing costs would affect our and the sellers’ decisions. Gene came to the title office for our closing paperwork and had already been in contact with the title officer, asking questions and batting for us concerning HOA and other costs that I wasn’t even aware of. What an MVP. Finally, we got to closing and receiving the house keys, both parties (we and the sellers) were happy and it was such a positive and fulfilling experience. AMAZING!
